| Sis (1848-1918) was the daughter of Timothy and Mary Eliza (Stevens) Fowler III. She was a milliner before her marriage to Frank (1847-1911) in 1877, and she set him up in the photography business. The business eventually failed because he was an alcoholic; and the marriage ended in divorce. However, the Panic of 1893 may have been a factor. |
