Andrea: Doris Hoyt was in Mom’s class (1940) at Wellesley High, and she married Wallis Edward Drew of Weston in 1948; she died in Feb 2005. Her parents were Wm H and Mabel Hoyt and they lived in Wellesley Hills; he died in 1958 and the service was held at the Wellesley Hills Congregational - another way Mom might have known the family.

Doris had a brother Robert who was 2 yrs younger. He was “of Needham” at the time of his father’s death in 1958 (had been overseas in the army for 3 yrs, then married Barbara Ann Reynolds of W. Newton in 1947), but by Sept 1980, when his mother died, he was “of Hudson, NH.” So I think he & his family must have been the ones we knew.
