Diane: Dan won third prize in YMCA Essay Contest - $2 which was presented to him at the kick-off dinner at Pollard Jr High for fund drive for YMCA swimming pool. . Pete Jr: Betsey Oliver graduated with me from NHS in 1966. The building of the YMCA pool was a key event in my youth, little did I know at the time. Dad gave $90, and they gave us a membership for the first year. |
