Looking straight up the track called Woods Road in 1988. The Hesslein property, to the right of the car, is now numbered 134 Flanders Memorial Rd. This track continued up the hill to end in a field, with no further habitation. . The driveway and lawn of the Perry property are in the foreground on the right, as Flanders Mem Rd bears left. . The colors on most Kodacolor prints of this era have degraded. I have adjusted the colors as best I can, but reds and possibly browns appear as magenta. The tones are sensible when the image is converted to black and white, but that did not seem appropriate for a foliage shot. . - Pete Jr |
