Former caption; we now believe that neither is present, and this is some other class, perhaps chaperoned by Liz Perry: 1910~ 1G2x Edith Blakeslee & Ethel Baldwin in Gamma Nu Sigma Sorority; New Haven CT. Karen thought the third from the left in row 2 is the best match for Edith's HS graduation picture. Edith was 21 at graduation; this looks like maybe a 5-year reunion, around 1910. I agree; she also seems a good match for Edith's bridal picture: . Fowler,GraceC-Blakeslee-Razee/ 1915-10-14. . June 2025: Examining the tintype on his viewer, George thought the woman second from the left tin the middle row could be his mother - she had a hat like that. Neither George nor Andrea could identify anybody else in this picture. I don't see anybody with a nose like Ethel's; I think she is not there. My understanding was that she was in this sorority. - Pete |
